Dr. Asiedu is an experienced project management professional with over 13 years’ industrial experience in the telecom industry. He has held various managerial positions throughout his career, and he presently works for Airtel Ghana Limited as the Head of Acquisition and Strategic Projects.
He holds a Ph.D. in Management Studies from the University of South Africa, Pretoria; MPhil in Logistic and Supply Chain Management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi; Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Professional Studies, Accra, and Project Management Professional from Project Management Institute, USA. Dr. Asiedu is a mixed method research specialist, and his research interest is focused on gaining insight into the absurdities entrenched within project management practices, and developing new models for managing them. He has published in peer-reviewed journals such as the Cogent Engineering, Journal of Construction in Developing Countries etc.
He is an independent contractor to UNISA, where he is actively involved in data analysis training activities and consistently delivers qualitative and quantitative data analysis workshops with SPSS, PROCESS Macro, ATLAS. ti, AMOS etc.
He is also a Chief Instructor and Research Advisor at ErnsandPosh Consult, where they assist masters’ students and Ph.D. candidates on their research works with special focus on methodology design, research instruments development, statistical analysis, and interpretation.
He has in depth knowledge with computer software and information technology systems. Thus, proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, MSP, Word etc.) and extensive knowledge with statistical packages such as SPSS, PROCESS macro, SQL, ATLAS, STATA, and IBM AMOS programs. He has won number of awards which includes “2nd Prize for Best Paper at the 2nd African Operations Management Conference in Johannesburg, South Africa, overall best employee at Millicom Ghana Ltd.
